For k-6, we have been focusing on Native American and Western art. Pictures will be posted soon. 7th and 8th grade has been working on Grids and Portraiture with the india ink as the medium focus.
The high school art department has been furiously busy in all aspects. Students in general art are producing a three part contour drawing encompassing line, color, shape and space. Watch for postings soon on www.artsonia.com, our online gallery. Photography has been at work on pinhole cameras and photographs, while ceramics is learning about the kiln, firing and glazing. We're hoping for a Raku firing this year.
